Christmas is coming, and in two weeks, we will be closing the year! How’s your business journey been in the year 2018? While you are still accomplishing your business goals, here are some tips on how you can spend your Christmas holiday.

1.  Take a break
You’ve been through intense meetings and goal setting this year; you deserve a break. The holiday season is not just a season to make more sales, but also a season for you and your employees to have a break. Spend quality time with your family or find a place to relax.

On the other hand, giving your employees a break will surely boost their energy when they get back to work. This can also be a way to show them your gratitude and appreciation for having them as part of your team.

2. Arrange a dinner night out with your business partners
Take the initiative to come up with a dinner night out and treat your business partners as a symbol of your appreciation for working with them. Aside from making your relationship healthier, this can also be a way to review your year and to discuss your plans for 2019.

3.  Organise a charity event with your employees
Holiday season can be a hectic time for your company, but it should not be a hindrance for you and your employees to give back. Make the most out of the season of giving and have the heart to give back to the community. Organising a charity event with your employees can uplift their feelings to do more meaningful things, which can also boost their morale. Find the right organisation that resonates with your beliefs and organise a charity event with them.

4.  Reward your team
Aside from a Christmas bonus, take this time to reward the most valuable asset of your business: your team. It always feels good to be appreciated and to hear positive words from one’s team leaders. If your business permits, you might want to allow your employees to take a day off for them to spend quality time with their families.

5. Take time to pause and reflect

When was the last time you had the chance to pause and reflect? If you’ve been busy 24/7, take this time to reflect and refocus. You might be overwhelmed with all the tasks and goals that you need to accomplish, but taking time to pause and reflect will allow you to see the bigger picture and gain new perspective. You never know - you might gain new ideas for your business while you pause.

These are the 5 tips to help you make the most of your Christmas holiday as an entrepreneur. Remember, as a business owner, you need to take care of yourself and your employees’ health too. Take this time to refresh and rejuvenate to end the year strong!
