I am pleased to unveil the April ’23 Issue of our Industries Dept. newsletter. The previous quarter has been extremely busy and eventful for us at the Government. We have had several marquee events such as the flagship event of our government, Bioasia ’23, and the first-of-its-kind E-Mobility Week in Hyderabad. Our official business delegation’s visit to the World Economic (WEF) at Davos in January was quite successful in attracting some important investments to Telangana.
Last quarter, major global companies such as Allox, Blackberry, Bristol Myers Squibb, Eurons, Foxconn, Foxx Life Sciences, TUV Rheinland & ATS and WebPT have come forward to invest in our State. We also launched facilities of Claranet, Cyber Ark, ITC Limited and Welspun. I am also proud to share that Amazon has launched ‘Amazon Air’, a dedicated air cargo network in Hyderabad; and this is the first time in India that an e-commerce company has done that.
We launched T-Works, India’s largest prototyping facility next to T-Hub 2.0. We also felicitated the Industry Awards 2022 winners on 7th March in the presence of Hon’ble Industries Minister and will soon launch the online Awards application form for 2023 through TS GlobalLinker portal. The Minister also opened the ‘Indian Business Portal’ for businesses in Telangana which will allow State sellers to connect with foreign buyers. We signed an MoU with Invoicemart a TReDS platform to support MSMEs overcome the issue of delayed payments. I hope the Industry will make use of these facilities to the most.
